Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Precast Concrete Production Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be integral to the manufacturing and installation of precast concrete components used in commercial and residential projects. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute to producing high-quality precast elements efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative building solutions while developing your expertise in concrete fabrication, formwork, and construction site operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, assembly, and dismantling of concrete molds and forms for precast components, ensuring precision according to schematics and blueprints
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cranes safely and effectively during production processes
- Perform rebar installation, tying, and placement to reinforce precast elements in accordance with structural specifications
- Placement of fresh concrete in molds: vibrating, finish troweling, placement of wet set embeds, and all associated tasks
- Conduct concrete pouring, finishing, and curing activities while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols
- Support the transportation/movement of precast units within the plant using commercial driving skills or heavy equipment operation as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following proper safety procedures for heavy lifting, scaffolding, caulking, plastering, and restoration tasks
Experience
- Prior manufacturing plant experience with exposure to concrete forming, finishing, or masonry work is highly preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to precast concrete production
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery operation (such as cranes or forklifts), and concrete pumping equipment
- Knowledge of rebar installation techniques is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
