Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Car Detailer to join our team. The Car Detailer will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning, restoring, and maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles to ensure they meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, wax, and buff vehicle exteriors to restore shine and protect paint.
- Vacuum, shampoo, and deep-clean vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, and floor mats.
- Clean and condition leather, plastic, and vinyl surfaces.
- Remove stains, odors, and debris from interior surfaces.
- Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and other glass components.
- Apply protective treatments, such as ceramic coatings, fabric protection, and paint sealants, as required.
- Perform light touch-ups, such as removing minor scratches or applying trim restorers.
- Use detailing equipment, such as buffers, steam cleaners, extractors, and air compressors, safely and effectively.
- Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure high-quality results.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including detailing tools and supplies.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and proper chemical handling guidelines.
- Assist in keeping track of detailing inventory and notifying management when supplies need to be restocked.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Hardworking and self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs as needed.
- Prior experience in automotive detailing is preferred but not required—training will be provided.
- Knowledge of various cleaning products, tools, and techniques is a plus.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
