Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will possess excellent team work and communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve food, drinks and organise orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly
- Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar/restaurant area at shift start and end
- Manage cash transactions accurately and handle payments securely
- Provide excellent customer service by attending to guest needs promptly and courteously
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, serving, pubs or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
- A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Pay: £12.21-£18.00 per hour
