Retail Sales Assistant – Fashion Boutique
£13.00–£13.50 per hour | Permanent | Part-Time (16–32 hours)

We’re looking for warm, confident and customer applicants to join our womenswear fashion boutique in the heart of Market Harborough.
We are an established brand with both a strong in-store and online presence, specialising in beautifully made Italian-designs and high-quality fabrics that set us apart from most high-street retailers.
Our customers value friendly, personal service and enjoy the upsell. If you enjoy working face to face with people, have an passion for fashion, and take pride in really understanding your stock and your customers, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
- Deliver a welcoming, friendly and attentive customer experience
- Develop a strong understanding of our collections, fabrics and fits – this is key.
- Confidently match stock to individual customers, offering thoughtful styling options
- Help customers feel comfortable, confident and well looked after
- Share the story behind our Italian designs and product quality
- Process sales accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a well-presented, organised and inviting boutique
- Support both in-store and online operations
- Contribute ideas and take pride in the success of the store
About You
- Friendly, confident and naturally personable
- Comfortable engaging with customers face-to-face
- Enjoy learning products in depth and advising customers
- Thrive in busy, energetic environments, especially during peak periods
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers look and feel their best, and who wants to feel genuinely involved rather than simply “on shift”.
Experience
- Previous fashion retail experience preferred
- Strong face-to-face customer service experience essential
- Consultative or styling-based selling experience a bonus
Pay, Hours & Benefits
- £13.00–£13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- Permanent role
- Part-time hours: 16–32 per week
- 7.5-hour shifts
- Flexible scheduling, including weekends
