Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their cannabis-related needs. Your expertise in product knowledge, retail sales, and customer engagement will help create a welcoming and informative environment for our clientele.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs.
- Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about various strains, consumption methods, and effects.
- Utilize POS systems for processing transactions and managing inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized display of products through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and maximize sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance on customer service best practices.
- Maintain communication with team members to ensure smooth operations within the retail environment.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with customers.
- Supervising experience is a plus for those looking to take on leadership roles within the team.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains and consumption methods, is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
