About the Post:
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Development Officer to support the delivery of effective systems, processes and business development activity across the service.
In this varied role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving management information systems, supporting service performance, and contributing to projects that drive efficiency and innovation. You will work closely with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to ensure data, systems and processes are robust, compliant and support high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop systems and processes to ensure accurate, up-to-date information that meets service and statutory requirements
• Analyse and present data from a range of sources to support performance monitoring, reporting and service improvement
• Support the delivery and tracking of performance objectives, identifying issues and implementing solutions to maintain high standards
• Contribute to service improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working
• Assist with the planning, implementation and review of projects and initiatives aimed at improving service delivery
• Work with colleagues to research and respond to legislative or policy changes impacting the service
• Provide systems support and training to colleagues to maximise effective use of tools and resources
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and suppliers
• Support business growth through involvement in sales, marketing and service development activity
• Deliver excellent customer service, acting as a key point of contact and resolving complex queries or issues
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, solution-focused and confident working with data, systems and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll bring:
• Experience working in a business development, performance, or information-focused role
• Strong analytical skills, with experience of interpreting data and producing reports
• Experience of working with management information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and influence others
• Experience of working collaboratively with internal and external partners
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to manage complex queries effectively
• Knowledge of data protection, confidentiality and information governance principles
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and service development
