The Old School Tea Room – Hebden, Yorkshire Dales (20 mins drive from Skipton)
We’re looking for a hands-on Café Supervisor to join our friendly, established team in a thriving licensed café with a great reputation for fresh food and vintage afternoon teas.
This is a varied role working across front of house and kitchen, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy, much-loved destination café with indoor and outdoor seating.
The Role
You’ll be:
- Leading by example in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Working across FOH and kitchen (barista + light cooking duties)
- Supporting and supervising the team to deliver great service
- Opening/closing, ordering and maintaining high standards
- Confident with health & safety, allergens, and hygiene procedures
- Comfortable using EPOS/till systems
- Energetic, organised, and customer-focused, with a positive, friendly attitude
Barista experience is essential. Kitchen experience is helpful, but full training can be given.
Hours
- Daytime shifts only – no nights or split shifts
- Includes Saturdays
- Part-time or full time available
What We Offer
- From £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)

About Us
The Old School Tea Room has been established for 18 years and is known for quality food, friendly service, and our popular vintage afternoon teas. With around 32 indoor covers and 50 outside, we’re a busy but welcoming café with scope to grow further.

Own transport is essential due to our rural location.
