We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and dedicated Chef to join our team. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with menu specifications and dietary requirements
- Ensure all food is prepared to a high standard of quality, taste, and presentation
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as required
- Store food safely and correctly to minimise waste and maintain freshness
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including HACCP procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to develop menus and improve service delivery
- Accommodate special dietary needs, allergies, and nutritional requirements
- Ensure kitchen equipment is used and maintained safely and effectively
- Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff where required
Skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food hygiene, safety standards, and HACCP procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a professional kitchen environment is advantageous
- Relevant food hygiene certification is desirable
- Passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals
