We are seeking a professional and dependable Cleaning Operative to join our Supported Housing team within Aylesbury.
This role is essential in maintaining high standards across our accommodation services, ensuring residents live in clean, safe, and welcoming environments.
Shift Pattern
- 1 shift pattern:
- Wednesday to Friday: 1:00PM – 6:00PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00AM – 2:00PM
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare void properties to a high standard for new residents
- Maintain communal areas, kitchens, and shared spaces
- Remove waste and ensure properties remain safe and hygienic
- Carry out sharps sweeps and basic health & safety checks
- Report repairs and maintenance concerns promptly
- Follow all COSHH procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with residents, colleagues, and contractors
About You
- Previous cleaning experience within residential, communal, or supported housing environments
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Comfortable using IT systems/apps to report works
- Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential
