Community Care Worker – Domiciliary Care- NUcare – Barnsley
£13.71 per hour + paid travel time & incentives.
Full-time, Part-time & Bank roles available
About the Role
NUcare is looking for compassionate and reliable Community Care Workers to join our growing domiciliary care team in the Barnsley area.
You will support individuals in their own homes, helping them live independently while maintaining dignity and quality of life.
No experience required – full training and shadowing provided.
Key Duties
- Supporting with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming)
- Preparing meals and supporting nutrition
- Assisting with medication (after training)
- Helping with household tasks (cleaning, shopping, laundry)
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Travelling between service users in the community
Requirements
- Caring and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and flexible (including alternate weekends)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
