JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: 2nd shift Compression Operator
PAY RANGE: $18-$22 p/h depending on experience
DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing
REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Manager
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To operate compression machines and perform in-process verifications to assure tablet quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*10% night shift differential (already included in the posted pay range).
· Operate tablet press machines and troubleshoot operation
· Cross train as backup for Pharmacy and Blending
· Monitor tablet quality such as hardness, thickness, weight, friability
· Clean and maintain equipment and production rooms
· Follow all cGMP requirements as detailed in SOPs
· Document all activities in Master Production Records
· Communicate any deviations to Supervisor
· Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Prior experience in compression operations preferred
· Ability to perform basic math, read, write.
· Must work as part of a team.
