Position Summary
The Licensed Customs Broker will oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the import/export operations team, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company policies. This individual will hold a valid U.S. Customs Broker License and will be responsible for maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Customs Compliance & Brokerage
- Act as the company’s licensed customs broker of record, ensuring all import/export activities meet U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulations.
- Oversee and review customs entries, classifications, valuation, PGA requirements, and related filings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CBP regulations and advise management on compliance issues.
- Ensure adherence to C-TPAT, FMC, and other regulatory programs.
Client Service & Business Support
- Provide subject matter expertise to clients on customs regulations, tariff classifications, and entry processes.
- Support the sales team in client acquisition by providing technical guidance on customs and compliance matters.
- Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications
- Active and valid U.S. Customs Broker License (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations, HTS classification, valuation, free trade agreements, and PGA requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in customs brokerage software (ABI systems), Microsoft Office Suite, and logistics management tools.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
