Superette is a lovely neighbourhood deli on Swains Lane, stocking carefully sourced products from small and independent producers.
We’re looking for a reliable, food-minded person to join us. This is a floor-level role with real opportunity to grow into a supervisory position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming and serving customers at the counter and till
- Preparing and serving food and coffee (barista training provided if needed)
- Maintaining the counter, displays, and stock to our standards
- Receiving deliveries and supporting with stock management
- Building product knowledge and sharing it with customers
What we’re looking for
- Some experience in hospitality, food retail, or a similar environment
- Reliable, punctual, and takes their work seriously
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Warm and confident with customers
- Barista skills are a plus but not required — we provide training
- A genuine interest in food and independent producers is highly valued
- Part-time and full-time
