K2 Logistics are seeking keen and hard-working individuals to join our dedicated team at DPD and help us deliver excellence in and around Gloucestershire, Van pick up Location GL24AP
This is a self-employed job role.
We Offer:
● £145 per day
● Uniform, fuel, insurance and delivery device provided at no cost to driver
● Weekly pay, 2 weeks in arrears
● 5 to 6 days per week
● Comprehensive large vehicle & on road safety training
● Dedicated on-road support manager
● Fully paid training
● Regular engagement events for all team members
The Role
● Multi-drop deliveries, parcels of varying size and weight
● Self employed sub-contractor basis
● Load and sort your van with your days parcels
● Use GPS technology to locate correct delivery location
● Use a delivery device to complete deliveries accurately, safely and to required standards
● Provide excellent customer service at all times, polite and professional in all dealings with customer, colleagues and warehouse staff
● Maintain a safety-first approach and comply with expected PPE standards
● Able to be proactive in solving problems on the road
What’s it like?
● Fast-paced and physical
● Delivering to houses, flats and businesses as required
● Typically working 11 hours per day
Essential requirements
● Right to work in the UK
● Full manual UK driving licence
● Maximum 6 penalty points on licence – no DR, DG, IN or TT endorsement codes
● Licence must have been held for a minimum of 6 months
● Pass a criminal background check, paid for by us
● Be able to commute to site every day
