Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and a passion for maintaining and enhancing the performance of heavy machinery. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on various types of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal functionality of machinery.
- Work with schematics to understand complex systems and components.
- Repair and maintain farm machinery, ensuring they meet safety standards.
- Utilize welding skills for repairs and modifications as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects in a dealership environment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within automotive repair or dealership settings.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar engines is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of all aspects related to diesel machinery is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Proficient in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair.
- Experience working with other machinery is advantageous.

Pay: $200.00 – $300.00 per day
