Director of Nursing Jobs in Springdale, AR at Confidential
Supervising all nursing staff.
· Overseeing nursing budgets.
· Reporting to higher management in the healthcare facility.
· Maintains high standards of care for all patients.
· Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records.
· Communicating with medical staff, patients, and family members about patient health.
-Responsible for infection control
· Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff.
· Providing ongoing education classes.
· Implementing new procedures and training for nurses regarding performance improvement initiatives or revised policies.
· Overseeing the therapeutic milieu.
· Planning and implementing nursing performance improvement program in conjunction with medical director.
Qualified candidates for DON should have the following:
· License: Active RN License and BLS certification
· Education: Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing but prefers a Master’s Degree in Nursing Management.
· Experience: Must have healthcare management experience with at least five years progressive acute care preferably in behavioral health. Must be proficient in Joint Commission standards.

Pay: $95,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
