Duties
- Operate pressing machines to expertly iron and shape garments, ensuring high-quality results that meet customer expectations
- Assist customers at the counter by processing clothing orders, answering questions, and providing friendly service
- Bag finished items carefully to prevent damage and maintain presentation standards
- Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including laundry stations and customer service counters
- Verify garment tags and labels for proper processing instructions to ensure quality control
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and assisting with stock replenishment as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred: training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with fast-paced service settings
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and garment care techniques is advantageous
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks with precision
- Basic understanding of cashiering procedures and cash handling protocols
