We are seeking a caring and responsible addition to our childcare family. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating and caring for children, creating a safe and nurturing environment while promoting learning and growth.
Duties
- Work alongside two Ofsted childminders caring for a group of children aged 0-10 with the majority of the children been under 5.
- Engage children in educational activities and play to support their development
- Perform typical childcare duties such as feeding, changing, and supervising children
- To have a small group of key worker children to assess and track based on the EYFS framework
- To complete regular and up to date required training such as Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for the children which would include some cleaning duties e.g. sweeping/mopping
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS and update service registration
- Level 3 or higher qualification in Childcare
- Recent experience in childcare is desirable
- Up to date qualifications in Paediatric first aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene would also be desirable but not essential as these can be completed upon training
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
