Early Years Practitioner
Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? We are currently looking for a Qualified Level 2 or 3 early year’s practitioner to work at The Dunchurch Montessori Nursery School on Cawston Lane, Dunchurch.
You will work 3 or 4 full days per week, 8:00am till 6:00pm with either one or two full days off a week. We are open all year round, except for 1 week over the Christmas period.
You must have a minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare with experience of working with children.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children, is hard working and works well within a dynamic highly qualified team and is interested in the Montessori method of teaching.
The Dunchurch Montessori Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the children in our care, you will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure. References will be required prior to starting the job.

Responsibilities and Duties
We would like you to:
- Provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment where all our little ones feel safe and happy.
- Contribute towards planning stimulating activities that are suitable to the individual needs of the children in your care
- Work alongside the Room leader and staff team to ensure that the philosophy behind The Dunchurch Montessori Nursery School is fulfilled.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the room, including setting up ready for the day and tidying.
- Prepare snacks, drinks and tea in line with our policies
- Maintain hygiene standards following our policies and procedures
- Work as a key person for a group of children, observing and documenting their learning and making sure they reach their developmental goals.
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures
- Ensure children are kept safe following our Safeguarding policies and procedures.
- To liaise with parents and carers (Parents as Partners ) and other childcare professionals ensuring that the children’s daily routines and developmental needs are met.
- To help with the smooth and efficient running of the room and nursery
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for an Early Years Educator/ Nursery Nurse who is qualified to level two or three in Childcare.
The salary will be dependant on experience and qualifications.
