Jurassic Childcare is seeking an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead our dedicated team and drive excellence across our nursery. As Nursery Manager, you will provide strong leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain high-quality standards, and help shape the future growth and success of our setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the nursery.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain outstanding standards of care and education.
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Manage nursery occupancy, budgets, and financial performance.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management procedures.
- Monitor children’s learning and development to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Lead quality assurance processes and prepare for inspections.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to support nursery growth and sustainability.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum).
- Relevant management qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Significant experience working within an early years setting.
- Previous leadership or management experience.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong organisational, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to lead by example and inspire others.
Desirable
- Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
- Experience of achieving Good or Outstanding inspection outcomes.
- Budget and financial management experience.
- Experience leading change and continuous improvement projects.
