Job Title: Electrical Foreman
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and manage electrical crews on commercial and/or industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical workers on-site
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Plan and lay out work to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Monitor job progress, quality control, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and job site conditions
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electrician’s license or journeyman certification (preferred but not required)
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical construction
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and OSHA safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in VA Hospitals, Hospitals and commercial Industrial work
- Valid driver’s license
- work well with a team and under pressure
