Responsibilities
- Deliver customised tutoring sessions in specific subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement, developing personalised learning plans
- Support students with homework, exam preparation, and skill development activities
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas requiring additional focus
- Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions, progress reports, and lesson plans
- Stay informed about curriculum changes and employ effective teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners
- Knowledge of special education needs and ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly is desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and motivate students
- Experience working with diverse learners, including those requiring additional support or accommodations
- Previous involvement in educational programmes or mentoring roles is advantageous
