About the role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised early-career professional to join ISBA’s External Affairs team. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in a team covering communications, public affairs and regulatory affairs, supporting colleagues to help deliver impactful comms and advocacy which adds real value for UK advertisers.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the External Affairs team with practical communications and content administration, coordination, production support and follow-through
- Assisting with social media scheduling, post prep, content creation, and platform & community management
- Helping to source, produce and organise content for member communications, newsletters, social media and other External Affairs output
- Maintaining trackers, content plans etc to keep projects running smoothly and deliver success
- Support public affairs colleagues through practical research, monitoring and stakeholder tracking
- Support the delivery of events, campaigns, briefings and industry engagement
- Working across teams to provide flexible support where it adds most value
What you’ll bring
- Around one year’s experience in public affairs, communications or regulation
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence working with data and reporting
- Clear written communication and a collaborative approach

Benefits
- Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 remote)
- Holiday – 22 days plus 5 days office closure at Christmas. Ratchets up to 23 days after 3 years' service, 24 days after 5 years' service and 25 days after 10 years' service. Plus one day for birthday to be taken two weeks either side of birthday.
- Pension – employer and employee pay minimum percentage as set out in current legislation (currently 3% for employer and 5% for employee). After one year, Company contributes 10%. Employees can make individual contributions collected through salary sacrifice.
