Factory Operative Jobs in Bradford at KMK Compensators Ltd
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Worker & Fitter to join our team. To manufacture & install Fabric Compensators & Bellows (Fabric Expansion Joints). This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment
- Collaborate with team members
- Use our CNC cutting machine – training will be provided
- To work as a team on sites to install the flexibles
- To be able to drive our works van
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required
- Training will be provided
- Basic math skills for measuring – Must be able to use a tape measure
- Clean driving licence
- Reliable
- Good at time keeping
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Motivated individual with a strong work ethic
Hours – 37.5 hours a standard week
- We run two shifts ether Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, this means you get a 3 day weekend.
- Shift 1 – Monday to Wednesday 7am to 5:30pm, Thursday 7am to 3pm.
- Shift 2 – Tuesday to Thursday 7am to 5:30pm, Friday 7am to 3pm.
- Overtime is offered on a regular basis and some weekend work.
- Site work will be available and this includes nights away from home.
All training will be provided
