We are currently searching for several candidates to join our staff. The openings we have currently are in Grinding and Roasting.

Position Overview

These positions all cover various production types of work, including but not limited to: Cleaning equipment, cooking nuts (small batch roasting), operating the grinder machine to chop and/or blend nuts, operating the metal detector to metal check all finished packages of nuts, adhering to all food safety regulations, assist others in filling lines for food production, filling out food safety documentation and performing visual inspections of equipment and products.

Candidates should have completed their high school requirements or equivalent, and have the ability to work all shift (8 hours) standing, bending or stooping. Candidates also must be vigorous in health and able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively, and be tolerant of cold and heat extremes in a typical factory like setting. Learning product qualities, food safety and safe work practices is necessary, and the ability to follow instructions is also an absolute must.

They should maintain a professional demeanor and a manner of respect around all fellow employees.They should be reliable, have excellent attendance and possess the ability to pay considerable attention to detail.

Job Description

  • Set up and operate production machinery, raw and cooked products and packaging according to specific standards and protocols of the company
  • Look through work orders to determine type and quantity of materials needed for each production batch
  • Measure and assess products made and fill out logs accurately regarding batches as they flow through production.
  • Monitor processes to ensure that they are run properly and ensure that basic quality control and quality assurance tests are performed
  • Handle goods and raw materials in factory storage areas and warehouses in manners conducive to ensuring their freshness and safety
  • Load and unload products to and from storage areas, production lines and delivery vehicles
  • Prepare bags, cans and cartons for packaging purposes and ensure that items are properly and safely packed into them
  • Inspect finished products to ensure that they conform to quality standards and isolate any non-conformed or damaged items
  • Communicate problems with machinery, raw products and finished products to a supervisor
  • Perform preventative and regular maintenance on machinery to ensure that their operational life is extended
