We are the Three Daggers. An independently owned 2AA Rosette Pub, Restaurant, B&B, Spa, Farm Shop & Brewery based in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside.
We are now expanding our team and are recruiting for a full time, experienced Farm Shop Supervisor to join our team. We are looking for someone with lots of energy and bags of confidence. You will be interacting with customers on a daily basis, so you will possess excellent communication skills and have an outgoing personality.
You will be required to be flexible in your working hours and working at least one day of the weekend is expected. The hours are over 4 days which includes at least 1 weekend day at minimum.
The role will involve assisting the farm shop manager in all the following aspects as well as taking control of these responsibilities when the farm shop manager is unavailable:
- Opening and closing the Farm shop
- End of day cashing up
- Managing staff
- Resolving any customer complaints effectively
- Relationship building with customers
- General administration duties
- Control of grocery, fresh fruit and vegetables displays to a high standard
- Serving behind the deli counter, preparation of café food items & making hot drinks, smoothies & milkshakes
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment to ensure that best practice and hygiene standards are in line with local and national guidelines & our own policies
- Stock Control, including ordering and rotation of all stock
- Use of the till to serve customers
- Train staff with the skills necessary to support your role
- Possess excellent time management and experience of working to guidelines
- Work to all Food Safety, Health & Safety, Environmental and Fire guidelines in line with company policies and national guidelines
Skills Required:
- Barista experience
- Experience of retail work – preferably in a food environment and/or coffee shop/café
- Have Food hygiene level 1 and 2 qualifications – preferred but not essential
- Fantastic customer service skills
- Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with coffee, in retail or a café is a must, as is the ability to work in the UK. We are in a rural location in Edington, Wiltshire so access to your own transport is vital.
