Dale Sailing Company Ltd is a family-run business established in 1961, based on Brunel Quay in Neyland. Our busy chandlery offers expert knowledge and a wide range of boating products to customers locally, across West Wales and beyond, as well as through our developing online ordering system. Our workshops service and repair a wide range of engines and boats and are also home to the build of the world-renowned DALE Motor Yachts.
Due to a change in circumstances, we are now looking to recruit a Full-Time Goods Inwards Assistant to support our chandlery and wider business. This is a hands-on, varied role focused on receiving and processing deliveries and supporting the smooth flow of stock throughout the company.
The Role
The successful candidate will oversee the receipt, checking, recording and distribution of goods and parts, ensuring stock is handled accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving goods into stores, checking deliveries and recording electronic data and paperwork
- Distributing and allocating parts to the relevant departments
- Identifying discrepancies and assisting with returns and replacements
- Monitoring parts supply and expected arrival dates
- Maintaining accurate stock records within the computer system
- Assisting with stock replenishment, stocktakes and general stores organisation
- Maintaining a tidy, safe and professional working environment with a strong focus on health & safety
- Supporting the wider parts and chandlery teams as required
- Waste management and general housekeeping duties

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
