PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To work as part of the team to aid people with mobility problems to use equipment such as electric scooters and wheelchairs to get around Belfast city centre.

To ensure provision to users is of a high standard and deliver an excellent level of customer service.

To assist the Director with daily administrative and operational duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following reflects typical duties and is not intended to be a comprehensive description of all tasks:

  • To deal on a daily basis, face-to-face or by telephone and email, with customers, and the general public.
  • To book out and complete a basic check on mobility equipment for Shopmobility Belfast members and to complete relevant paperwork for daily hire.
  • Adding and updating of computer database records.
  • Assisting the Director with daily administrative and operational duties.
  • Low level cash handling.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Secondary School education (e.g. 4 GCSE level or NVQ 2 Administration or equivalent).

IT Literacy and working knowledge of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Office, SAGE.

A minimum of one year’s relevant work experience in a front of house environment.

Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.

Experience of computer usage and invoicing/bookkeeping.

Must be able to carry out all relevant tasks as required within the job role.

Good organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills.

Ability to use initiative and work unaccompanied or as part of a team.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
