Overview
Grounds Maintenance Team Leader
Location: RAF Boulmer, NE66 3JF
Hourly Rate: 13.10
Contract type:

Working hours:
Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:30
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives based at RAF Boulmer and ensure the grounds are maintained to a high standard for a prestige site and active hospital.
- Conduct grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying, and related grounds maintenance and gardening tasks.
- Support and develop team members, maintain a safe work environment, and promote best practices in grounds maintenance.
Requirements
- Previous Grounds Maintenance and Gardening experience is required, with leadership experience being highly advantageous.
- A full valid UK driving license is essential.
- Horticultural qualifications highly beneficial as this role will involve head gardening duties.
- Willing to undertake and achieve clear DBS and BPSS checks prior to start.
- PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable.
- Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
