Duties

- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients with attention to safety and cleanliness
- Maintain proper food handling procedures in accordance with food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, and utensils, demonstrating excellent knife skills and cooking techniques
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new grilled items or variations to enhance our offerings
- Support the overall food service operation by coordinating with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, especially within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Proven culinary experience with a focus on grilling, food preparation, and food handling techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and high-quality service standards
