About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, reliable Heavy-Duty Diesel Parts professional to lead parts operations and support our service counter. You’ll purchase and stock parts, issue parts to technicians, maintain accurate inventory, and quickly look up correct components to keep our shop running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Source, purchase, and receive heavy-duty diesel parts from approved vendors
Maintain organized stock levels; conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits
Issue parts to technicians, track usage, and manage returns/cores
Accurately identify and look up parts using OEM catalogs and systems
Serve customers and technicians at the counter with prompt, professional support
Monitor pricing, create POs, reconcile invoices, and control parts margins
Keep the parts area clean, safe, and well-organized; enforce best practices
Coordinate with Service and Technicians to forecast parts needs and reduce downtime
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in a heavy-duty diesel parts environment (shop, dealer, or fleet)
Fluency with CAT, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, and Eaton parts catalogs and nomenclature
Strong multitasking, organization, and communication skills
Proficient with parts lookup systems; Fullbay experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Comfortable working at the counter and in the warehouse (lifting/moving parts as needed)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in parts procurement, inventory control, and vendor management
Familiarity with core tracking, warranty processes, and returns
Basic knowledge of shop workflows and technician needs

Pay: $24.00 – $34.00 per hour
