Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Duty Manager with food and beverage experience to oversee daily operations within our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, supervising staff, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate operations, ensuring smooth guest experience from check in to check out.
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest service at all times.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Oversee the organisation of daily activities, including event coordination and day to day running of the business .
- Monitor staff performance, provide training where necessary, and support human resources functions such as scheduling and appraisals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Assist in managing financial transactions, including billing and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain effective communication between departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support the development of promotional initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and hotel reputation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staff management and development.
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality operations, or similar roles is essential.
- Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
