We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaner / Rodent Proofer to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and pest prevention in industrial and commercial environments, ensuring health and safety standards are met. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial sites using hand tools and power tools to remove debris, dirt, and contaminants.
- Apply rodent-proofing measures, including sealing entry points and installing pest deterrents.
- Use construction skills to repair or reinforce structural elements as needed for pest prevention.
- Operate various power tools safely and effectively during cleaning and repair tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and areas serviced.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Assist with specialised pest control procedures, including baiting and trapping where necessary.
Experience
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction work, or pest control is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with the use of power tools in a professional setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for effective pest proofing and cleaning tasks.
