As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our team and in preparation to move into our brand-new, larger facility in Big Lake in July, we are actively looking to hire an Industrial Custodian to join our team.
Job Overview:
M&M Precision Machining is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Industrial Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This position plays an important role in supporting employee safety, operational efficiency, and the overall appearance of our facility by maintaining cleanliness throughout our production floor, office spaces, common areas, and exterior grounds.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform cleaning duties across the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as floor care, buffing, and deep cleaning of machinery and work areas
- Assist with custodial responsibilities related to janitorial and commercial cleaning needs within the plant
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repair needs and assisting with minor upkeep tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and production zones
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, housekeeping, and/or manufacturing facility cleaning experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify work that needs to be completed and take initiative.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and related tools.
- Ability to read and understand safety information, labels, and work instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Reliable attendance and dependability are essential.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work throughout both office and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and standard janitorial tools.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $20 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
Shifts / Work Hours:
1st Shift according to one of the following schedules:
- Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- A variation of the above schedule may be considered, so long as the work schedule includes time to clean the office spaces before 8 AM or after 4:30 PM and the hours do not cause a disruption to manufacturing or office teams.
