We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Machineries Installation Technician to join our dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-tier industrial equipment and automation solutions. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy machinery, production lines, and industrial control systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical alignment and electrical assembly knowledge, along with extensive experience in industrial field service operations. Responsibilities
- Install Heavy Machinery: Set up, level, and anchor industrial machinery, production lines, and automated systems following mechanical blueprints, engineering schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and precision repairs on installed mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal operational uptime.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize precision alignment tools (e.g., dial indicators, laser alignment tools), rigging equipment, power tools, and hand tools to complete installations safely and efficiently.
- PLC & System Configuration: Assist in configuring and testing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and HMI software for machine monitoring and sequencing.
- Client Training: Provide on-site technical training to client operators and maintenance teams regarding safe machinery operation and basic troubleshooting procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical & Electrical Aptitude: Strong mechanical millwright skills combined with robust industrial electrical experience for troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical hardware.
- Field Service Experience: Proven track record in field service operations installing, rigging, and servicing heavy industrial equipment or production machinery.
- Industrial Wiring & Fluid Power: Deep experience with three-phase power, low-voltage control wiring, conduit bending
- Precision Tools: Proficiency with precision measurement layout tools, laser alignment systems, and heavy rigging/lifting equipment (forklifts, cranes, hoists).
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills for managing client interactions on the plant floor and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Project Management: Ability to manage installation timelines efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship and strict safety protocols.
- 3-5 Years Experience
- Bi-Lingual: English – Spanish
