We are looking for a Graduate IT Applications Support Analyst to join our growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to build a strong foundation in business applications and ERP systems, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world IT support, system analysis, and a major ERP transformation programme spanning multiple sites across the group. You will work alongside experienced IT and business colleagues, developing your technical and analytical skills in a structured, supportive environment with clear opportunities to progress.

About us

We are a multi-site organisation with operations across Worcestershire and the Midlands. Our IT team plays a central role in supporting business operations and driving digital transformation, including a significant ERP implementation programme that touches every part of the business. We are proud to offer our IT colleagues the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that have a real impact on how the business operates.

What you will do

  • Support business applications, ERP systems, and user queries across multiple sites
  • Assist with ERP migration, testing, data activities, workflows and documentation
  • Help investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues
  • Work with users, vendors, and the wider IT team to improve systems and processes
  • Support reporting, training, and ongoing system improvements
  • Log, track, and follow up on support tickets through to satisfactory resolution, maintaining accurate records in the incident management system
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and system upgrades, helping to ensure changes are documented and communicated effectively
  • Contribute to the production of reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support business decision-making
  • Help maintain system documentation, process guides, and user training materials
  • Liaise with third-party software vendors and internal stakeholders to investigate issues and progress resolutions
  • Support data migration activities, including data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation as part of the ERP programme

What we are looking for

  • A degree in IT, Business Systems, Computer Science, or a similar subject, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • An interest in business applications, ERP systems, and IT support
  • Placement year, internship, service desk, or super-user experience would be beneficial but is not essential
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business travel between sites
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with a methodical and organised approach to work
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Basic understanding of or exposure to SQL, databases, or data analysis tools would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts or IT service management principles is desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus

Key skills and competencies

  • Analytical thinking – ability to break down complex problems, interpret data, and identify practical solutions
  • Attention to detail – accurate in logging issues, maintaining records, and validating data
  • Communication – able to translate technical information clearly for non-technical users and liaise confidently with colleagues and vendors
  • Adaptability – comfortable picking up new systems, tools, and processes in a changing environment
  • Collaboration – works well within a team, contributes positively, and supports colleagues across departments
  • Customer focus – takes ownership of user queries and sees issues through to resolution
  • Continuous learning – proactively builds knowledge of ERP systems, business processes, and IT best practice
