Contractual terms This is not a instant role but application to be apart of Optionchain Ltd where if a role with a client is found by Optionchain Ltd that you have the skills for you would work through Optionchain Ltd as per the statement of work (SOW) i.e. full / part & remote / onsite.
Role Description Project Manager role based as per the clients request. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of projects, including scoping, planning, scheduling, and managing resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project requirements, maintaining detailed project plans, managing risks and issues, and coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams. The role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders, facilitating project meetings and status updates, preparing reports for senior leadership, and ensuring adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards. The Project Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices and support recovery of stalled or off-track projects when required.
Qualifications
- Strong project and program management skills, including Project Planning and Program Management, with a track record of delivering complex IT initiatives.
- Solid Information Technology knowledge, with experience managing infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, or business transformation projects.
- Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into clear, actionable information for diverse audiences.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for risk management, issue resolution, dependency tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with recognized project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or PMP) and related tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, or similar).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in on-site, cross-functional environments and to lead teams without formal authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in consulting or client-facing project delivery, particularly in large or enterprise organizations, is highly beneficial.
