Grace May is delighted to be partnering with a well established organisation to recruit an IT Support Engineer.
If you're currently working in a 1st or 2nd line support role and looking to develop your infrastructure skills, this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative IT team where you'll gain exposure to Microsoft technologies, networking and project work while building your career.
The Role
You'll provide technical support to users across the business, helping to maintain a reliable and secure IT environment while supporting a range of infrastructure and business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support via phone, email and in person.
- Manage support requests through the helpdesk system.
- Install, configure and support desktops, laptops and printers.
- Assist with the administration of Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
- Support networking and resolve connectivity issues.
- Help maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Work with third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Support IT projects, upgrades and continuous improvements.
- Provide occasional support to other company locations as required.
About You
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Previous experience in an IT support role.
- Windows 10/11.
- Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office.
- Desktop, laptop and printer support.
- Basic Windows Server administration.
- Networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP and VPN.
- IT helpdesk or ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
