Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (office-based). Travel may be required overseas.
Role Overview
We are a thriving Industrial Automation company providing design and manufacturing solutions to a global client base. The role involves electrical design of bespoke industrial/automation equipment, creating schematics, control panels, layouts and testing.
Responsibilities
- Electrical design of bespoke industrial/automation equipment using AutoCAD and Siemens software packages.
- Create detailed documentation and electrical design packages—schematics, control panels, and layout drawings.
- Assist in in‑house and on‑site testing and commissioning of equipment.
- Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and produce documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Background in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Hands‑on design experience, preferably in industrial automation.
- Willingness to travel overseas occasionally.
- Commutable to Trowbridge.
