Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service
- Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Develop and implement innovative menus in collaboration with management
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control wastage to optimise resources
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area according to hygiene standards
- Assist in serving service users when necessary, providing excellent hospitality
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary or restaurant setting, with a strong background in food production and cooking
- Supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
