Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Support kitchen staff during meal service by ensuring timely delivery of ingredients and supplies.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain proper inventory and insure weekly truck orders are correct and placed on time.
- Create and input a weekly schedule and insure that all positions are filled with employees trained in that role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years kitchen experience is required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to manage shifts effectively while supervising junior staff when necessary.
- Experience in casual dining is desirable but not mandatory.
- A passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn new skills related to bartending or food service.
