Level 3 Childcare Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen and we looking for a childcare practitioner to work at our Gruffalo’s Den Nursery. The role will involve working with children to support their development, to safeguard them and to promote their welfare.
The Successful Candidate must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years Qualification. They will preferably have experience of working within an early years setting.
We are looking for someone to work 30 hours per week 8:45-3:00 every day term time only. Paperwork and staff meeting take place outside these hours. This is a fixed term contract until 19th March 2027 with the potential to extend.
Successful candidates will be given full support and training opportunities to include mandatory fields e.g. Safeguarding, First aid and those relating to continual professional development in addition to those reflecting good practice. Training may need to be undertaken outside of normal working hours.
The post is subject to pre employment checks including but not limited to: DBS checks, qualification checks, reference checks and identity checks

Pay: £12.75 per hour
