Compensation
Annual earnings typically range from $100,000 to $160,000+, depending on:

As an independent contractor, income is directly tied to services provided.
Credentialing
Clinicians are responsible for their own credentialing costs. Credentialing expenses may be spread over time to reduce upfront financial burden.
Please note that insurance credentialing timelines vary by payer and may take approximately 30 to 120 days to complete.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related behavioral health field
- Current Washington State license in good standing
- Washington State business license or ability to obtain one before beginning services
- Professional liability (malpractice) insurance
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Strong ethical and professional standards
- Excellent clinical documentation and communication skills
Independent Contractor Requirements
Contractors are responsible for:
- Federal, state, and local taxes
- Professional liability insurance
- Personal medical and health insurance coverage
- License renewal and continuing education requirements
- Maintaining all required business licenses and certifications
- Managing time off that is not paid for by the company
