Shift: 37.5 hours (Shift Patterns between 07:00 – 18:30 Monday to Friday, weekend work may be required)

We're looking for a Lifeguard who will deliver a safe, professional and high-quality lifeguarding service to our customers, including Armed Forces personnel, their families and wider community users. This role involves maintaining safety within the swimming pool environment and supporting the overall operation of the leisure facility. Please note to be successful, you must be able to pass an SC Clearance to work on base.
- Role Responsibilities Ensure the safety and good conduct of all swimming pool users by following Normal Pool Operating Procedures
- Respond to incidents and lead in emergency situations where required
- Monitor pool usage and maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment, including changing areas
- Carry out routine pool checks, including water testing and recording results to meet safety standards
- Support the wider team with additional tasks and events as directed by the Line Manager
Required Qualifications Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
- RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (in date) (essential)
- Ability to maintain physical fitness to perform rescues
