Responsibilities

- Support menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with strong knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Ability to plan meals and assist with menu development based on ingredient availability and customer preferences
- Familiarity with food industry best practices for meal preparation and food service operations
