A manufacturing operation in the Athens area is seeking motivated, safety-focused Line Technicians to support a 24/7 production environment. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated production equipment to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment to keep lines running efficiently.
• Perform quality checks and routine inspections to ensure product specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and assist with adjustments and preventive maintenance.
• Complete production documentation and equipment logs accurately.
• Support startups, shutdowns, product changeovers, and housekeeping activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, industrial, automated production, wood products, or related experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with automated equipment, conveyors, motors, hydraulics/pneumatics, forklifts, or Lean/Continuous Improvement principles is a plus.
