Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal and possess strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain Tube Laser machinery effectively.
PLEASE NOTE: this role is based in Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 8DX
Responsibilities
– Set up and operate our tube laser machine to bend, form, and shape metal
– Read and interpret technical drawings to determine the correct specifications
– Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards
– Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and cleaning
– Collaborate with team members to fabricate, assemble, grind, and weld components as needed
Requirements
– Proficiency in operating tube laser machinery
– Knowledge of sheet metal properties and fabrication techniques
– Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and angles
– Experience in working with various tooling for machine operations
– Strong attention to detail and quality control practices
