POSITION TITLE: Maintenance all Shifts
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager and Plant Engineer
SUPERVISES: N/A
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time all Shifts
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicates with the Plant manager on daily production. Perform preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant operating equipment to ensure overall operating efficiency and safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage daily production.
- Communicate daily with Plant Manager, Plant Engineer and office.
- Manage a small inventory.
- Provide repairs of facility equipment.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance.
- Disassemble and assemble equipment for sanitation and production runs.
- Make repairs and adjustments in a timely fashion to ensure as little downtime as possible.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Comply with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Maintain, review and create standard operating procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Must be 18 years or older
- Must have boiler and pressure vessel knowledge
- Proficient in the use of hand and shop tools
- Some industrial maintenance experience is a plus.
- Must be able to safely operate and repair various facility equipment.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
- Ability to work scheduled hours, which may include overtime, depending upon plant demands.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Ability to adhere to and enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance guidelines.
- Must be able to work with a diverse workforce, bilingual is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires the ability to walk, stand, sit and use hands. Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb ladders. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures with standing cool and cold temperatures down to -10.
- Must be able to stand and walk on wet, uneven and slippery surfaces.
- Must be able to work in cold and hot weather
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
