Ranger Management is seeking for new talent:
Role: Maintenance Technician
Department: Construction
Responsibilities:
General Maintenance and Repair Duties:
- Communicate with the Maintenance Coordinator to build efficiency in day to day schedule
- Perform a variety of work such as maintenance, repair of buildings and grounds, including, but not limited to:
- Carpentry, minor electrical (i.e. install light switch, install light fixtures, etc.)
- Minor plumbing (i.e. unclog drains, replace washers, etc.)
- Painting (both interior and exterior).
- Repair floors (i.e. replace sub-flooring), showers, sinks, walls (drywall), roofs and carpet
- Perform repairs and adjustments to locks, doors, cabinets, closets, door hinges
- Identify and escalate any projects or maintenance request go beyond Ranger’r in-house capabilities
- Ensure job is completed for recurring Melds on a regular basis
- Change filters, lawn care & condenser coils
- Install, replace and/or set-up appliances; some minor appliance repair.
- Property Meld
- Ensure photos have been uploaded for each work done
- Ensure detailed descriptions of the work have been added
- Check all faucets/plumbing for leaks
- Check all light bulbs
- Check toilet seats and towel bars
- Check all window/door screens
- Check that each door has a properly installed doorstop
- Check faucet aerators
- Check switches/outlets and all plates
- Check for screens & blinds on the windows
- Re-key all locks
Requirements:
- Own Vehicle
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
KPIs:
- Number of callbacks on repairs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
