Looking for a dedicated and team-oriented individual, with a strong service frame-of-mind to fulfill the Maintenance worker position at Weathervane Terrace Inn & Suites.
Job responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Receive written and verbal work orders and perform those orders in timely manner
- Assist in the cleaning of internal & external hotel public area spaces, empty trash cans, pick up parking lot.
- Keeping windows clean and clear
- Maintain and service pool & spa areas including testing to meet State & City regulations
- Maintain and repair building components, such as plumbing, electrical, flooring, furniture, appliances, etc.
- Planting, watering and general upkeep of flower beds and plants around the property.
- Interacting with guests around the grounds
- Keep accurate records of daily activities
- All other duties assigned.
- Job Requirements:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid state driver’s license
- General maintenance experience is recommended
- Flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with safe use of common hand and powered tools
- Must possess a welcoming manner and positive attitude;
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Professionally interact with guests, answering guest questions concerning hotel facilities, and provide information about local attractions.
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
